Sig Legion X - Review: SIG Sauer P320 X-Five Legion - New 9mm Pistol with Tungsten Grip Now Available in Europe
“Another polymer gun!” You might think of the SIG Sauer P320 X-Five Legion at first glance. The SIG Sauer P320 has been on the market since 2014, but it has a relatively high level of transmission. This is because of its modularity. The slide on the SIG Sauer P320 X-Five Legion is color-matched using a PVD coating. SIG Sauer calls this shade "Tungsten Grey."

We therefore determined a volume of approximately 114 cm³ by measuring it in a practical test.
This yields a density of about 3 grams of matter per cubic centimeter. Including measurement errors due to our simple measuring methods. which Archimedes used to test the golden crown For comparison: pure tungsten 19.3 g/cm3, iron 7.85 g/cm3. and about 2.7 grams of aluminum per cubic centimeter. Therefore, it weighs slightly more than the weight of the aluminum handle. If the handle is made of steel while maintaining the same size It weighs about 31.4 oz/890 g and about 19.2 oz/546 g more.

But why don't they add tungsten? Maybe for durability reasons. with polymer grip We know that the addition of color additives has a negative effect on material properties. Tungsten sits as a foreign body in the polymer structure. Therefore, the more tungsten inclusions, the higher its density. But the more structural bonds are weakened.
So it's a compromise that takes some practice to master. And, of course, several test kits were required on SIG Sauer.
The feel has also changed – the grip feels more like metal than plastic. and stays cool even in cooler outside temperatures. In December 2020, SIG Sauer defended this process under patent number US10866059B2, so it would be difficult for other companies to acquire the technology.

SIG Sauer places full iron sights on the MRDS cutout cover and does so without a backup rear sight when a small red-dot sight is installed. But it's something you can use in the stadium.
For testing shooting performance We selected seven loads ranging in weight from 115 to 147 grains. We had the SIG Sauer Electro Optics Romeo 1 Pro micro red dot sight shifted to the right.
